Dr. Agrama received training in Balloon Sinuplasty techniques at the first available instructional seminar with Acclarent in 2006. He incorporated the minimally invasive technique rapidly into his extensive sinus surgery practice. Since then, he has used balloon dilation for thousands of surgical patients with great success. Dr. Agrama is now proud to offer Balloon Sinuplasty as an awake in-office procedure for select patients.
Dr. Agrama is an innovative surgeon who is passionate about restoring breathing for his patients. He has developed and refined BreatheNakedsm, a minimally invasive procedure that restores breathing through the nose. This surgery creates a permanent breathe strip effect that improves breathing day and night.
Specially trained in the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, Dr. Agrama currently serves as the Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach. He has successfully used nasal and throat reconstructive surgery to improve and optimize hundreds of sleep apnea patients’ breathing.
Dr. Agrama was born in New York City and raised in Cocoa Beach, FL. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from Duke University. Dr. Agrama received his Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology in 2003 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Agrama has provided compassionate and high quality otolaryngology care in West Palm Beach and Jupiter since 2008. He is on the active medical staff at Jupiter Medical Center.
He has published numerous scientific articles on obstructive sleep apnea, thyroid disease, head and neck cancer, and hearing loss. He is a member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Additionally, he was one of the founding members of the International Sleep Surgery Society.
Dr. Agrama lives in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife and two sons. His outside interests include tennis, fitness training, classical piano, and video games.
